Sleppy
Sleppy is a living plush bear who loves sleeping and often falls asleep in funny, playful positions. Star is her close companion, who is also her pillow.
Together, they share a soft and quiet world centered around rest, comfort, and companionship. The film consists of four short stories: “Best Place to Sleep,” “Polaroid,” “Cookies,” and “Star Shine.”Each story centers around themes of warmth and healing.
DESCRIPTION
BEST PLACE TO SLEEP
Sleppy follows a treasure map with her friend STAR in search of the “best place to sleep,” only to discover that home was the answer all along.
POLAROID
STAR can’t help laughing at Sleppy’s funny sleeping pose and takes out a Polaroid camera to capture the moment. After snapping a few photos, STAR shyly turns the camera around to take a picture of them together.
COOKIES
Sleppy opens a box of delicious cookies and can’t stop eating them one after another. Before she knows it, her little belly becomes soft, fluffy, and round like a cozy pillow.
STAR SHINE
While Sleppy and STAR are chatting, the lights suddenly go out. Frightened in the dark, Sleppy is comforted as STAR transforms into a real shining star, lighting up and warming the room.
